Junior Tutor Recruitment (Maths, Science, Programming)
We are seeking motivated Junior Tutors to join our team, supporting students in Mathematics, Science, and beginner Programming. This role is suitable for university /high school students or recent graduates enthusiastic about education.
Role Responsibilities:
Assist with tutoring sessions for individuals or small groups.
Provide support with homework and academic concepts.
Contribute to lesson preparation and student engagement.
Requirements:
Strong knowledge in Mathematics, Science, or Computer Science.
Programming skills (Python or similar) advantageous.
Effective communication and punctuality.
Genuine passion for tutoring and learning support.
Terms and Conditions:
Employment type: Part-time, fixed-term or casual basis.
Hours: Flexible scheduling with availability during afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
Remuneration: Competitive hourly rate compliant with Fair Work Ombudsman’s guidelines for tutoring/education roles.
Probation: A standard probation period of 3 months applies.
Confidentiality: Tutors must maintain student privacy and handle personal information responsibly.
Compliance: Must adhere to child safety policies, including mandatory Working with Children Check clearance.
Performance: Regular feedback and development opportunities provided.
Termination: Either party may terminate the engagement with notice as per the contract terms.
